Moyira AI ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered educational platform available at moyira.in. We are based in India and our services are primarily designed for Indian learners — school children, competitive exam aspirants, and senior citizens.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our service:

• Account information: Name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
• Usage data: Which features you use, questions you ask, and learning progress — used to improve the service.
• Payment information: We use Razorpay to process payments. We do not store your card details — Razorpay handles all payment data under their own PCI-DSS compliant system.
• Device data: Browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/state level) for analytics.
• Content you upload: Images or documents you upload for AI explanation are sent to Google Gemini API for processing. We do not permanently store uploaded files.

3. Children's Privacy (Child Mode — Ages 6–12)

Moyira AI offers a Child Mode designed for children aged 6–12. We take children's privacy very seriously:

• Child Mode uses the strictest AI content filters (Google Gemini's BLOCK_LOW_AND_ABOVE on all harm categories — harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit content, and dangerous content).
• We recommend that a parent or guardian creates the account on behalf of a child under 13.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent.
• All games (Word Scramble, Kids Quiz, Sudoku) in Child Mode use hand-curated, age-appropriate content as a fallback in addition to AI-filtered content.
• If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without parental consent, please contact us at support@moyira.in and we will delete it promptly.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Moyira AI service
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send service-related emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To analyse usage patterns and improve our AI responses
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Google Gemini AI — processes your questions and uploaded content to generate AI responses. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Razorpay — processes payments. Subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• MongoDB Atlas — stores account and usage data securely in the cloud.
• Cloudflare Pages — hosts our web application.
• Google Analytics — collects anonymised website usage data to help us understand how users navigate the site.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertisements.

6. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers (MongoDB Atlas).
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• All data transmission uses HTTPS/SSL encryption.
• We implement single-device login enforcement to protect your account.
• We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@moyira.in.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies to keep you logged in (JWT authentication token stored in localStorage). We also use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel cookies for ad measurement — these can be blocked using your browser settings without affecting core functionality.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
